The purpose of this page is to provide a by-series format to acess the audio files, in mp3 format, of the preaching ministry of my pastor, Rod Harris. I record, edit, and manage these sermons, delivered at Trinity Baptist Church, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Because of limited server space, I will be displaying only the in-progress and just-finished series of Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday prayer meeting.

About Me:

I am a horticulturist by profession, a truck driver by necessity, and a child of the King by God’s gracious choice. But by the grace of God I am what I am, 1 Corinthians 15:10.

No, I am not a pastor, evangelist, or missionary. I do preach to a group of teenagers every Sunday morning in a Sunday-school class my wife and I teach at Trinity Baptist Church, in Tulsa Oklahoma. My church is located at the corner of 41st and Union. If you are in Tulsa, I would love to have you come worship with me.

About this Blog:

This blog is about my desire to see God’s kingdom furthered. Within that over-arching context, I would like to see the Southern Baptist Convention return to its historical roots. I do not necessarily see this return as a theological system, ie: Calvinism, but more as a deep desire to align our faith and practice with the inspired and sufficient word of God. This can only take place if we acknowledge that the chief end of man is to glorify God (Daniel 4:34-37), that our minds equip our bodies for service (Romans 12:1,2), and that the person and work of Jesus Christ is the central message of the Bible (I Corinthians 2:2).

And then sometimes I feel like I’m doing more harm than good, and should just leave it to the “experts.” You know, sometimes I’m not really sure why I write anything. And yet, I just don’t seem able to keep from it.
